It starts on Tuesday (April 20th) on BBC Two. The first episode deals with the Georgian time.
Think Marie Antoinette and the huge, huge wigs and makeup they used.
During the first episode, Lisa goes to Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, and explores Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire who was one of the day’s best beauty icons.
She will also recreate a Georgian look of a 21st century model.
Lisa spoke about it on her YouTube channel and said, “Episode one is really only based on a decade, the 1780s. It’s the real High Georgian … when you think of Marie Antoinette and the huge, huge wigs and makeup they used. “
Lisa Eldridge’s lipstick
Lisa has her own lipstick. A description on their website reads: “Paint your lips like an artist with these highly pigmented True Velvet Lipsticks. Described as “a phenomenon … a work of art”.
“Each ball looks like a beautiful plush velvet, a ‘trompe l’oeil’ that has to be seen to be believed. This is a matte lipstick that has been revolutionized with a saturated Technicolor formulation and a creamy texture with a slight sheen that is 3D and luscious, not flat matte.
