Who is Owen Teale and who does he play in The Pembrokeshire Murders?

Owen Teale is a Welsh actor born in Glamorgan in South Wales. He plays lawyer Gerard Elias in ITV’s The Pembrokeshire Murders.

In the ITV drama, Gerard is the lawyer ultimately responsible for bringing murderer John Cooper to justice.

His job is to prosecute Cooper and convict him for the double murders.

In real life, Owen is married to actress Sylvestra Le Touzel.

Was Owen Teale in a Witches’ Discovery?

Yes, some viewers may recognize Owen from the Sky series A Discovery of Witches.

In this fantasy show he plays Peter Knox, a high-ranking witch.

Knox is a member of the Congregation – a nine-member council that represents demons, witches, and vampires. The group first formed during the Crusades to protect their species from humans.

What else was Owen Teale in?

Of course, Owen’s résumé as an actor is broad and others will remember his appearing on shows like Line Of Duty and Game Of Thrones.

He starred in Line Of Duty as Philip Osborne for two episodes of the first series of the BBC cop drama. He is known to crash into Steve Arnott after telling a gun crew to be on trial over the events surrounding the mistaken shooting of civilian Kareem Ali.

The character was a Chief Inspector of the Central Police who was part of the Counter Terrorism Division.

Owen’s Game Of Thrones alter ego was a little more prominent.

He played the ferocious Alliser Thorne, the armorer in Castle Black, who torments Kit Harington’s character Jon Snow while he trains to become part of the Night’s Watch.
