Masked Singer viewers are still guessing the identity behind the characters, and many are wondering: who is Blob?
A number of fans believe the panel is pretending not to know who the celebrity in the blob costume is.
They seem certain they know who the mystery singer is and claim that the star in question gave a really obvious reference to last night’s show.
And some fans are deeply suspicious that the panelists did not get the “hint” and one claims the whole thing is a “dressing”.
What did Blob sing on The Masked Singer?
On last night’s show, Blob played the song ‘Hotel Room Service’ by American rapper Pitbull.
And for many viewers that was a great clue to the real identity of the alien creature.
Think back a few years and you’ll remember comedian Lenny Henry starring in a number of television commercials for the Premier Inn hotel chain …
However, if it was a hint, the panel did not recognize it.

Davina McCall thought Blob was comedian Greg Davies, while Rita Ora thought it could be fitness trainer Joe Wicks.
Mo Gilligan quipped that the celebrity in Blob was “someone old trying to get in touch with a younger crowd” before guessing Ainsley Harriott.
What did the Masked Singer viewers say on Twitter?
And Jonathan Ross flopped for Little Britain and British Got Talent star David Walliams.
At home, however, viewers tore their hair out, claiming that Blob’s true identity was evident and that the panel was feigning their ignorance.

One tweeted, “We’ve all known for weeks that it’s Lenny Henry! He’s just been singing about the bloody hotel chain that he is the face of, and the jury still pretends not to know! Why does this make me so angry? “
Another scoffed: “Why does everyone on the panel pretend they don’t know it’s Lenny Henry?”
And a third commented, “Either it’s not Lenny Henry or the panel is just pretending not to notice all of the obvious. If it is the latter then the whole show is an attraction. Kind of like that American wrestling junk. “
A fourth viewer was also sure that he knew who it was: “Blob is Sir Lenny Henry and I cannot be convinced otherwise! Last night when he was singing about ‘Hotels’ it was finished for me. “
On last night’s show, Bush Baby was revealed as Cold Feet star John Thomson.
The Masked Singer returns to ITV next Saturday at 7pm.
