Continue glamping on C4: will there be a second series?

Johnny Vegas: Carry on Glamping ends on Wednesday (May 26, 2021) with the fourth episode.

And Johnny finally manages to unveil his dream project – his Field of Dreams campsite.

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a chance for a second series.

Far from it, in fact.

Although Channel 4 hasn’t confirmed whether Johnny will be returning, the fourth episode ends with a nod to future plans for the campsite.

In surprisingly touching scenes, Johnny tells his friend and PA Beverley Dixon: “We have created a campsite and it is beautiful.

“It’s been so long since I created something beautiful.

“My career is about ranting. I don’t want to scold, I want to hug. “

Comedian Johnny goes on to reveal that he has a different idea for his glamping site.

He tells Bev that he wants to turn his attention to “helicopter tree houses”.

What is Johnny Vegas doing next?

Johnny currently plays Dave in Meet the Richardsons.

It’s a mockumentary that focuses on the real-life comedy couple Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont playing fictional versions of themselves.

Johnny appears as himself.

He also starred in Murder, They Hope on Gold.

The UKTV original series stars Johnny and Sian Gibson as amateur sniffer dogs preparing to give up their bus travel business to start their own detective agency.

However, her friends and family are skeptical that the couple has what it takes.

Later in his year, Johnny portrayed Arthur Braxton Sr. in the film The Drowning of Arthur Braxton.

He also plays Giro in the upcoming film Womble – a dark comedy about a man with Aspergers Syndrome.

Johnny will also reportedly portray Moz in the as-yet-untitled “Ideal” film.

This is a planned film version of his BBC Three comedy series Ideal, which ran from 2005 to 2011.

Moz is a drug dealer with very strange customers who come and go from his apartment.

According to a news update on writer Graham Duff’s website, “Having written 53 episodes of his BBC television comedy drama Ideal, Graham is now making an ideal feature film.

“The film that follows the misfortune of Moz (Johnny Vegas) will root the action in the weed-dealer apartment in Manchester.”

Johnny Vegas: move on to episode four of glamping

After two grueling years of making plans for his glampsite of all sorts of problems, Johnny Vegas is finally ready for the big reveal.

Unfortunately, it is in front of its fiercest critics – family and friends.

After the last vehicles have arrived, Johnny has time to fool his assistant Bev again …

Johnny gives her the motorhome from the 1950s, which he bought and restored as a gift.

While last-minute preparations at the construction site continue, Johnny inspects the refurbished fire truck, which is quick to make the wrong turn as it manages to get stuck on the roof!

And from then on it gets worse …

As he and Bev prepare for the arrival of the popular Maltese bus that began the whole adventure, disaster strikes one last time.

Last in the series.
