Piers Morgan’s life stories have been questioned after the presenter left GMB yesterday (March 9th) – but will the chat show continue?
The 55-year-old presenter stunned viewers after dramatically ending the day’s program after spitting with Alex Beresford.
But what does that mean for his ITV chat show Life Stories?
Will Piers Morgan’s life stories continue?
The popular chat show first aired in 2009.
Each episode was recorded in front of a studio audience and is dedicated to a prominent guest.
Gemma Collins, Trisha Goddard, Chris Eubank and Rupert Everett were among the guests on the show’s most recent series.

While it is not known if the show will continue, fans were quick to share their concerns on social media.
Many users pointed out that the series was shot for ITV.
On Twitter one wrote: “What does this mean for Piers Morgan’s other shows on ITV like Life Stories etc. Do you think they will still work with him?”

A second said: “@piersmorgan Will the life stories still go on? Asking for a friend … “
A third added: “@ITV, please remove Piers Morgan from your platform. It is certainly inappropriate to have life stories on your channel. “

Meanwhile, other fans were optimistic about the show’s future.
One added, “Well done Piers, it had to be said. GMB won’t be the same. More time for you and your family, and hopefully more time to write more of Piers Morgan’s life stories. “
A second wrote, “Hopefully you will have more time to write life stories. Such a great series. “
Another commented: “Except you left GMB but have to do what is right for you. We hope to see you again with more life stories. “
Piers said today that his discussion with ITV was “consensual” which gives hope for a new set of life stories …

Why did Piers leave GMB?
Earlier this week, ITV released a statement to confirm that Piers Good Morning would be leaving Britain.
A statement said: “After speaking to ITV, Piers Morgan has decided that now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.
“ITV accepted this decision and nothing more to add.”

Meanwhile, Piers wrote on Twitter on Wednesday: “On Monday I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview.
“I’ve had time to ponder that opinion, and I still don’t. If you’ve done that, OK. Freedom of expression is a hill I like to die on. Thank you for all the love and hate. I’m on my way to spend more time with my opinions. “
Since then, viewers have called on Eamonn Holmes to replace the star.
