Will there be a Series 2 of the BBC drama?

The pact has been delighting viewers since its debut on BBC One earlier this month.

The drama, set in Wales, centers on a group of friends after their boss is found dead.

The show has become a huge hit, and of course fans are demanding more even before its finale tomorrow night (Tuesday June 1st).

So far, the BBC has yet to confirm whether the second series of The Pact will take place.

However, actress Rakie Ayola has already resented that there is potential for another run.

“If you think about it, you could have a show where the world explodes and there’s nothing left but a blade of grass, and if someone wanted 17 years of it, they could,” she said Digital spy.

“But the way it is … it’s so beautifully shaped. So you never know. We shouldn’t be hexing it. These six episodes are worth investing in because they are fantastic and there really is a story that goes from A to Z. “

Unfortunately, a second series has to be commissioned.

If it does happen anyway, it will surely take a while, considering the first series is still airing.

Creator Pete McTighe recently said that the first series gives viewers a “close” at the end.

However, he also confessed that he would like to do another season.

He told Radio Times, “I think a lot of shows these days are hedging their bets a bit because they obviously want a second season.

“And we want a second season too, but it’s important to me that this story actually has the ending that I think the audience wants.

“So there are definitely more stories in The Pact if we’re lucky enough to get a second series, and I’d love to.”

What about the cast?

Producers could go one of two ways.

You could try continuing the plot from season one or creating a completely new stand-alone story.

If Season 2 continues where Season 1 left off, then it would likely be without some familiar faces.

However, creator Pete McTighe could also go down the path of fellow BBC The Syndicate and have a whole new story and new actors playing new roles.

All episodes of The Pact can now be viewed on BBC iPlayer.
